How I’m Able to Provide Good Service:

With over 35 years in the printing business, I have been able to provide efficient, timely, quality service with integrity and pride. I have learned a tremendous amount of information as I network with my printing association, The Business Forms Dealer Association. I am fascinated by this field and continue to learn and grow in my arena. I look forward to establishing a great rapport with my customers from conception of idea to delivery of product.

Company History:

During the late 60’s in high school and college I took a class in letter press , then working with negatives and film, and aluminum plates, then called offset printing. From start of the job until the end, which then was termed bindery, a job was completed. With more advancements in the printing field, it was challenging to learn this industry. My first apprentice job in the printing arena was at a printing plant, running a small offset press and printing everything from forms, envelopes, tags and labels. My first commercial printing experience was with a business forms company that trained me in artwork, stripping, offset printing, and ran presses.

Thereafter, I was hired by a small company to run their printing plant and managed their work force of 5 employees. Over 5 years, operations grew to about 30 employees, and my experience as production manager there taught me how to work efficiently and thoroughly in a group. I had always dreamed of having my own company, so finally in 1980 I opened Flyer Graphics with a partner, where I was head of production, specializing in one part forms, cut singles.

Our operation started with one 2-color web press, and upon leaving in 1989, 7 web presses were working full time. Over 50 employees were employed there upon my exit during this time, and my next goal was fulfilled in late 1989 whereupon I opened my own shop, Delgraphics, and specialized in printing notebook covers on thick cover stock from 1 to 4 color on large size equipment.

One noteworthy aspect of this operation was that I was approached by Dreamworks during the filming of the movie “Catch me if you can” and was asked to rent my shop and presses for a film sequence. I was thrilled to accommodate the film crew which took one day to film a 10 minute part in the movie!!

In the year 2000, the printing industry took a hit due to overseas business taking over, and I creatively came to a solution to concentrate on sales of printing materials solely. I have enjoyed servicing customers in the academic, automotive, manufacturing, restaurant, marketing, accounting, and social services fields, as well as the religious community.
